Fransa ve Kanada \u00dcniversiteleri ile \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i, Yeditepe, Bilkent \u00dcniversiteleri \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyelerinin deste\u011fi ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen etkinlikte, 16 ana konu\u015fmac\u0131 ve 65 k\u0131sa konu\u015fmac\u0131 ile beraber 120 civar\u0131nda kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131 oldu. D\u00fczenlenen \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131n konusu, \u201cHarmonik Analiz ve Operat\u00f6r Teorisi\u201d olarak belirlendi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harmonik Analiz ve Operat\u00f6r Teorisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Harmonik Analiz ve Operat\u00f6r Teorisi, matemati\u011fin iki modern ve aktif ara\u015ft\u0131rma alan\u0131. \u0130ki alan\u0131n da k\u00f6kenleri, fonksiyonlar \u00fczerine geli\u015ftirilmi\u015f klasik analiz teorilerine dayan\u0131yor ve ikisi de 1960\u2019lardan beri etkile\u015fim halinde geli\u015fiyor. Son y\u0131llarda, \u00f6zellikle sinyal i\u015fleme ve modelleme uygulamalar\u0131ndaki geli\u015fmeler ile birlikte hem Harmonik Analiz, hem de Operat\u00f6r Teorisi h\u0131zl\u0131 bir ilerleme i\u00e7erisine girdi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6zellikle Harmonik Analiz, i\u00e7inde Fourier Analizi ve g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz pop\u00fcler \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131ndan biri olan Zaman-Frekans Analizini bar\u0131nd\u0131ran \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n teorik alt yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan disiplinleraras\u0131 bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alan\u0131. M\u00fchendislik alan\u0131yla birlikte d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde, g\u00fcncel hayat\u0131m\u0131zdaki yans\u0131malar\u0131 telekom\u00fcnikasyon ve ileti\u015fim sistemlerinde \u00e7ok belirgin bir \u015fekilde g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. \u00d6rne\u011fin; bilgisayarda dosya indirme h\u0131z\u0131, foto\u011fraf \u00e7ekim kalitesi (jpg), MR \u00e7ekimleri gibi t\u0131bbi g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleme cihazlar\u0131nda kullan\u0131lan ve g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n kalitesini artt\u0131ran kolayl\u0131klar, bu alanda yap\u0131lan teorik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla sa\u011flan\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cB\u00f6yle Etkinliklerin \u00dcniversitemizde Yap\u0131lmas\u0131 Onur Verici\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0130\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 Prof. Dr. Mustafa Oral \u00d6nc\u00fcl, \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftayda yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fmada \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesinde b\u00f6yle etkinliklerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n onur verici oldu\u011funu dile getirdi. Prof. Dr. \u00d6nc\u00fcl ayr\u0131ca \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131n \u00f6nemine vurgu yaparak \u201cUluslararas\u0131 ve displinleraras\u0131 olarak hayata ge\u00e7irilen bu etkinlik, bizlere g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat\u0131m\u0131zda bir\u00e7ok fayda sa\u011flayan matemati\u011fin, belki de fark\u0131nda olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z t\u00fcrl\u00fc faydalar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rmemiz i\u00e7in bir f\u0131rsat. M\u00fchendislik, t\u0131p, ileti\u015fim gibi bir\u00e7ok bilim dal\u0131n\u0131 etkileyebilecek olan bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131n hayat\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sa\u011flayabiliyor olmak \u00dcniversitemiz i\u00e7in b\u00fcy\u00fck bir f\u0131rsat. Bu nedenle, size bu organizasyonun tarihini anlatmak istiyorum. B\u00f6yle bir toplant\u0131 fikri, ge\u00e7en y\u0131l \u015eangay\u2019da Operat\u00f6r Teorisi IWOTA\u2019n\u0131n at\u00f6lyesindeyken ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. Fikrimden orada Nico ve Turgay&#8217;a bahsettim. Bir tart\u0131\u015fmadan sonra, \u015eangay&#8217;daki genel \u00e7er\u00e7eveye karar verdik. Daha sonra Volker, Ebrahim ve Aurelian ile temasa ge\u00e7tim. Ayr\u0131ca fikrimi de destekliyorlard\u0131. Yo\u011fun bir y\u0131l \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131ktan sonra, at\u00f6lyemiz \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya haz\u0131r hale geldi. \u0130n\u015fallah Operat\u00f6r Teorisi ile Harmonik Analiz aras\u0131nda fikir al\u0131\u015fveri\u015finde bulunulur. Tabii ki bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131n bir dizi halinde devam etmesini temenni ediyoruz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p>Matematik \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay\u0131 konu\u015fmac\u0131lar\u0131ndan, Ko\u00e7 \u00dcniversitesi \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Ali \u00dclger ise \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay hakk\u0131ndaki g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini \u015fu s\u00f6zlerle ifade etti \u201cBaz\u0131 fonksiyonlar \u00fczerinde \u00f6zel bir tapoloji var ve bu tapolajiler genellikle bu noktalar\u0131 birbirinden ay\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Tersine olan noktalar inceleniyor. Harmonik Analiz ve Operator Teorisi matematiksel analizin 2 ayr\u0131 konusu ve tarihsel olarak benzer k\u00f6kenden geliyorlar.
