Dr. Gizem Parlayandemir ile toplumsal cinsiyet e\u015fitsizli\u011fini ve \u2018Media and Gender\u2019 kitab\u0131 \u00fczerine konu\u015ftuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n medya ve toplumsal cinsiyet \u00fczerine odaklanmas\u0131n\u0131n sebebi nedir?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00f6ze \u015f\u00f6yle ba\u015flayay\u0131m. \u00d6ncelikli olarak sosyal bilimci ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 meseleyi \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlerken bulgular\u0131 de\u011ferlendirirken genellikle tarafl\u0131 de\u011fildir; fakat se\u00e7ti\u011fi meselenin de\u011ferini belirlerken yani \u00f6rne\u011fin d\u00fcnyada pek \u00e7ok sorun varken neden toplumsal cinsiyet \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz diye sorarsak konunun taraf\u0131y\u0131m. Sadece bilim insan\u0131 olabilen bir kad\u0131n olarak hemcinslerime d\u00f6n\u00fck sorumlulukla de\u011fil ayn\u0131 zamanda insan olarak da vicdani bir noktada meselenin taraf\u0131y\u0131m. Toplumsal cinsiyet e\u015fitli\u011finin sa\u011flanmas\u0131n\u0131 da sadece kad\u0131nlar\u0131n meselesi olarak g\u00f6rm\u00fcyorum. Medya, toplum ve toplumsal bilin\u00e7 bir \u00f6teki olarak kad\u0131n\u0131 tan\u0131mlamad\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, erkeklik meselesinin de \u00f6zg\u00fcrle\u015fece\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum. Daha g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayattan ifade ile a\u00e7\u0131klayacak olursak \u2018kad\u0131n gibi araba kullanmama\u2019 bask\u0131s\u0131 baz\u0131 erkeklerin zihninden silinirse, yani herkes trafik kurallar\u0131na uyar, sinyal verir, birbirini s\u0131k\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmaz, yol verirse, hepimizin de huzurlu ve keyifli yolculuk deneyimleri olur diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum. \u00d6yle \u00e7ok ki bu \u00f6rnekler, kad\u0131nlar\u0131 de\u011fil insanlar\u0131 \u2018kurtarmak\u2019 i\u00e7in toplumsal cinsiyet e\u015fitli\u011finin sa\u011flanmas\u0131 \u015fart. Tayfun Atay hocan\u0131n \u00e7ok sevdi\u011fim bir makale ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 var \u2018Erkeklik en \u00e7ok erke\u011fi ezer\u2019 diye&#8230; O erkeklik de kad\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na kuruluyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130nsanl\u0131k bilimsel ve teknolojik olarak geli\u015fiyor. Bu alanlardaki geli\u015fmeler \u00f6nemli, ekonomik geli\u015fmeyi de sa\u011fl\u0131yor ama insani geli\u015fme i\u00e7in tek ba\u015f\u0131na yeterli de\u011fil. \u0130nsani geli\u015fme, mevcut kaynaklar\u0131n artmas\u0131yla ilgili, ancak bundan daha da \u00f6nemlisi, t\u00fcm insanlar\u0131n bu kaynaklara e\u015fit eri\u015fime sahip olmas\u0131&#8230; \u0130nsani geli\u015fme i\u00e7in \u00e7e\u015fitli kriterler var ve \u0130nsani Geli\u015fme Endeksindeki bu kriterler incelendi\u011finde e\u015fitsizlik daha iyi anla\u015f\u0131lmakta. \u0130nsani geli\u015fmeyi engelleyen olgulardan biri de toplumsal cinsiyet e\u015fitsizli\u011fi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu sorunun \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc i\u00e7in t\u00fcm d\u00fcnyada kad\u0131nlar ad\u0131na ve\/veya kad\u0131nlar taraf\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli ad\u0131mlar at\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olsa da hen\u00fcz cinsiyet e\u015fitli\u011finin sa\u011fland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fil. Sosyal bilimlerde ve toplumsal hayatta cinsiyet e\u015fitli\u011fini sa\u011flama m\u00fccadelesi kad\u0131n hareketinde ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f ancak daha sonra erkeklik ve queer temsillerini de kapsayacak \u015fekilde geni\u015flemi\u015f. Tarihsel s\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7erisinde farkl\u0131 feminizm hareketleri ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f ve queer \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131 farkl\u0131 sosyolojik ger\u00e7ekliklerde temsilin nas\u0131l in\u015fa edildi\u011fine veya al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131na odaklan\u0131rken, di\u011ferleri medya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar\u0131n\u0131n durumunu ortaya koymu\u015f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biz bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada konumuzu kad\u0131nlarla s\u0131n\u0131rland\u0131rd\u0131k ve bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada kad\u0131n\u0131n medyadaki temsiliyeti ve kad\u0131n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar\u0131n medyadaki durumu oryantalist olmayan bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131yla belirlemeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada medyadaki kad\u0131n temsilini irdelerken nas\u0131l bir yakla\u015f\u0131m sergilenmi\u015ftir?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derya hoca ile biz temay\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fck -iki serilik bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma bu asl\u0131nda \u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fczdeki sene de in\u015fallah sinema ve toplumsal cinsiyet temas\u0131n\u0131 okuyaca\u011f\u0131z&#8230; Temay\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fck ve kitapta b\u00f6l\u00fcm yazan hocalar\u0131m\u0131za kafam\u0131zdaki meseleyi a\u00e7t\u0131k, bir yandan kad\u0131n meselesinin \u015fiddet boyutu var bunu yok sayamay\u0131z, bir yan\u0131yla da ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 \u00f6rnekler de var ve biz o \u00f6rnekleri g\u00f6rmezden gelince de ba\u015fka bir s\u00f6ylem \u00fcretiyoruz&#8230; Dengeyi sa\u011flamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131k \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc kad\u0131nlar\u0131 sadece ma\u011fdur olarak tan\u0131mlamak da kad\u0131nlara haks\u0131zl\u0131k&#8230; \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc kad\u0131n akademisyen de var ki bu seride b\u00f6l\u00fcm yazan b\u00fct\u00fcn yazarlar kad\u0131n, kad\u0131n bakan var, kad\u0131n avukat var, kad\u0131n sekt\u00f6r temsilcisi var&#8230; Yeterli d\u00fczeyde mi, \u00fcst y\u00f6netimde yeterince yer bulabiliyorlar m\u0131, kad\u0131nlar olarak m\u0131 erkekle\u015fmi\u015f kad\u0131nlar olarak m\u0131 devam ediyorlar mikro alt ba\u015fl\u0131klar tabii ki ama kad\u0131nlar\u0131n kazan\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131 da g\u00f6rmek gerek&#8230; Evet, bir yan\u0131yla baz\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerdeki \u015fiddet ma\u011fduru kad\u0131nlar\u0131n nas\u0131l temsil edildi\u011fi ve temsil edilmesi gerekti\u011fi ile ilgili yaz\u0131lar var ama sadece ma\u011fduriyete odaklanmak da umutsuzluk \u00fcretiyor. Bu demek de\u011fil ki sim\u00fclatif bir mutluluk tablosu \u00e7izelim&#8230; ama olan\u0131 oldu\u011funa m\u00fcmk\u00fcn mertebe en yak\u0131n \u015fekilde g\u00f6sterebilmek bilimsel sorumluluk. Bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 gere\u011fi hakikate de\u011fil ger\u00e7ekli\u011fe ula\u015fabiliyor ama hakikate de o ger\u00e7eklik sayesinde ula\u015faca\u011f\u0131z.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bir de tabii ki \u015fiddeti ele\u015ftirirken yeniden \u00fcretmemeye gayret ettik, \u00f6rne\u011fin bizim Derya hoca ile yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z b\u00f6l\u00fcmde \u015fiddet foto\u011fraflar\u0131n\u0131 ele\u015ftirdik ama o foto\u011fraflar\u0131 kullanmad\u0131k, bilimsel a\u00e7\u0131dan belki ele\u015ftirilebilir bir karard\u0131 ama etik a\u00e7\u0131dan do\u011fru olan\u0131 yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum.
